SsangYong Motor announced on the 13th that it held the “2023 Partners Day” to promote win-win cooperation and mutual growth with its partner companies.
The previous day, SsangYong Motor hosted Partners Day at the Grand Hyatt Seoul, where it shared the company’s current management status and business vision. The event, which had previously been operated under the name “Regular General Meeting of the Cooperative Association,” was renamed “Partners Day” to mark a new beginning as a KG family company (KGPA).
This event was held to strengthen a horizontal partnership based on shared responsibility and the common goal of achieving mutual growth.
Approximately 200 partner company representatives attended the event, including SsangYong Motor Chairman Kwak Jae-sun, President & CEO Jung Yong-won, President Eom Ki-min, and newly appointed Partners Chairman Park Kyung-bae of Kyunggi Industrial. The program included a presentation on SsangYong Motor’s management status and mid- to long-term strategy, as well as an awards ceremony recognizing outstanding partners.
Through the management briefing session, SsangYong Motor shared its current business status, mid- to long-term development strategies, and key product development plans with its partners. The company also requested their continued efforts to ensure flawless quality, stable parts supply, and strengthened cost competitiveness to achieve mutual growth based on trust.
The partner companies likewise pledged to fulfill their responsibilities by improving parts delivery performance, quality, and cost competitiveness, thereby helping SsangYong Motor reestablish itself as a leading SUV brand with strong competitiveness.
